The reliability as measured by the coefficient Dillon-Goldstein rho
Presented reliability and model fit indicators resulting from our research prove that competencies measured by Archipelago Competence Game provide significant and accurate information about participant's behavior. Results of competency assessment were then normalized to give adequate values based on distribution of specific skill level in population.
In the next step, with the selected algorithm we calculated the raw results of the games on the standard scale.
The second important stage of the research is to determine how Archipelago accurately measures the competencies. For this purpose, we conducted a series of comparative tests with the Development Center method. Development Center is currently the most accurate predictive test method for studying competency.
In order to establish the validity of competency measurement using a computer game Archipelago, we performed a correlation analysis of the results obtained by the same people in the game with the results obtained during the Development Center session. The results obtained are:
The results indicate a statistically significant and positive relationship between the two metrics. The higher the score in the game, the higher rating during performance of exercises. Accuracy of competency measurement using the game also supports a significant difference in the results obtained between employees occupying different positions. The highest level of competency was manifested in managers.
The results of our research show that diagnosis using a computer game can give in some areas, complete information about competency. Proven reliability of the measurement and accuracy analysis allow you to use the results of the gamemeasurement.method.text4
